Delayed 2015 PNP inland applications due to the background check

Today I receive re-medical request of my dependent after the completion of 2 years of my application. I hope that its a good sign for my application.
They don't ask me to re-medical of my self as I am in Canada may be due to this reason.

Any one else received re-medical request who applied in 2015 ?
 
anythhing new for anyone? I am yet to get any updates for my PR. (my Masters PNP application was received in November 2015)..

AOR: December 2015
Med Req: May 2016
Nonsense CV and nonsense questions about field of study and publication requested on Oct 2016
Bacground check started on Nov 2016
Waiting for 28 months

Contacted MP, Signed the petition, Called CIC millions of time, sent case specific inquiry several time, requested for GCMS twice and all I get is "still processing background check".

Even wrote a complaint letter to CSIS...

By the way, this is my second application, I submitted my first application on February 2015 and they returned the application just because of a missing signature.

I call this immoral behavior, racism...

How did you understand that Background check started on Nov 2016?( I mean the date)
maybe it was started earlier
