Delayed 2015 PNP inland applications due to the background check

I am July 23rd applicant. Asked for additional information(CV,...) last August. Still on security check. PhD, originally from Iran. This is lots fun!
 
You are not alone and seems that they send all the Iranian inland applications to in-depth screening and we have not heard of someone received PPR. We should start to follow up since they cannot hold applications based on the nationality.
 
July 27th, asked for CV on September and also Iranian.. this is sad!

What do you mean by CV and publication list?
Do you mean Resume?
Are you guys who are getting CV requests inland or outland?

That is such a ridiculous wait time! I feel for the poor guy!!!!

Yes, exactly the resume and all of us are inland.
 
Hi All, any updates on any of your cases? I called CIC today again and no news...Still background check...no timeline provided. Very frustrating as I've been waiting for 19 months. :'( :'(
 
Hey Guys

we(me and my wife) applied in 11 aug 2015 and in 13 nov 2015 we got our application no and in may 2016 our medical passed and still nothing i called them and they said its in Background check

Same here. Ontario master stream. AOR Received on Dec 03, 2015. CIC required additional documents (CV, publications, thesis supervisor info ...) on Oct 14 2016. Nothing ever happened since then.

Finally we got 'decision made' this morning. Called CIC and the agent told us it was approved!

When I see the timeline of pedro pending from 2015 its make me more worried.

I think all of us should mention their country as I am from Pakistan, I think they are making problem only with Asian like Iran, Pakistan China, India etc

Feb. 2015, still on background check....., did remedical on Nov. 2016, I am not sure how long will take
 
Any update ? Any one received PPR ??
Dont know what to do or how much time they will take more. I didn't heard from any one from last 1 month that any one form 2015 application received PPR.
Guys what we should do now? I already sign the petition.

We should follow up. Please share the petition link with your MP. I haven't heard anything and still nothing! We have a good number of signatures and we should follow up.
