Delay of workpermit

helloo guys!.
This regarding the work permit of my friend.!
He has applied for open work permit on 11th june 2019 , it almost crossed the processing time.! Usuallyy it takes about 8weeks but it has crossed a week more.! He’s confused what to do.! Whether he need to wait for it or should he send any mail .?
Plz anyone facing same problem just let me know what to do.?

Hi we can only write the webform Or email the visa office to expedite the process

There are no exact processing times you just have to wait.

Good Day.

I have received a BC PNP with a valid job offer from Vancouver.
We have been advised to apply for Work Permit for me / open work permit for my wife & student permit for my son (grade-2).
We have collected all doceuments like reference letters from current & previous employers etc.
All documents have been "uploaded" to my IRCC account but not yet "submitted".
It says, I cannot submit the application & pay untill the following documents are not submitted.

1. I cannot complete the custodian declaration for my son, as I don,t know the school name & sice myself & my wife are accompanying him, do we still need a custodian reference?
2. I cannot upload the letter of acceptance for my son to any school at this point of time.
3. What documents to upload in "purpose of travel" for my wife, to prove that she is travelling there for a temporary visit.
