Delay of biometric

Hi,

I have applied for Canada visa 1st June. I need to give the biometric fingerprint and photo. But unfortunately, I did not notice that I need to finish the biometric within 30 days. Also, I did not get any notification yet. I am applying from USA. What can I do now?

1. How did you apply? Online or as a paper submission?

2. If you applied online, did you get a Biometrics Instruction Letter?

Yes, I applied it online. I got the biometrics letter. But unfortunately I did not notice that I need to finish the biometrics within 30 days.

You must give your biometrics within 30 days of getting the BIL at any Application Support Center of the USCIS.... or at a VAC/CSC in NY/LA.

If you applied on July 1, you have time until the end of this month to give your biometrics

Sorry, it will be 1st June. It already more than 30 days. That's why I am worried. What will be my next steps?

You'll need to email your local visa office to ask if you can still give your biometric. Otherwise you may have to reapply from scratch

For paper submissions, there is zero possibility of a delay in giving biometrics. VFS/VAC staff will take your biometrics at the time of submitting your paper application
 
Hi,

I have submitted my parents application for visitor visa. I didn’t receive the biometric request letter yet. Do you know how long it usually takes to get biometric request email after submission and full payment?

How can you contact your local visa office. How can I contact the local visa office in Woodbridge, New Jersey.
