All of us already landed and came back to deliver our new baby.
We made a new application just for him and he's now have a landing date.

Is there a way to delay the landing date for him in case both of us can't make it to Canada at the due date? (Wife is a Canadian citizen)

The landing date is a fixed date that cannot be extended. If your child cannot land by that date, you'll need to sponsor your child again from scratch once you're ready to move.

However I don't understand why the child has a PR visa. Was the child born after your wife became a citizen?

She's a second generation citizen born outside of Canada

Ah - that makes sense.

In that case she does need to land by the date listed on the visa if you want to avoid starting the process again from scratch.

Delaying the landing doesn't mean only taking the medical exam again?

You need to first ask the visa office if they will even allow the extending of COPR validity date. In many cases they will not, and will ask you to re-apply again when you're ready,

However there is no harm in asking. Perhaps they will extend medicals and re-issue you a COPR with later validity date, even though I doubt they would.

No - unfortunately it's not that simple. It's at the discretion of the visa office. Typically extensions are not allowed.
