Delay in (TRV) visiting visa application from Nigeria

I submitted my application online on the 30th of October and gave my biometric on the first of November 2019 at vfs lagos and till now I have not gotten any messages it's been 3 good months now. Plz does any one share same faith with me? What could be the reason for the delay ?
You will need to wait...have patience...plenty patience. Mine too six months and finally rejected. Your application is in London on queue for processing. Nigeria's applications are sent to London or Kenya. Mine was processed in London. Was your application online or paper?

Mine and my wife's was online.
Reason for rejection is "based on purpose of visit".

Thanks a lot! though am so worried cus the purpose of my visit date has passed and am worried if they will still approve it.
Don't be worried. That's their style....intended dates always and always pass.
Just be patient and I hope you didn't pay for your flight cos that's the mistake people make.

What’s the faith of the applications processed in Kenya because mine is processed in Kenya and I got my correspondence letter today, submitted on Jan 6 and gave my biometrics same day
