I landed in Canada on May 20, 2013. I was told that I would get my new PR in 4-6 weeks. I am now on my 10th week and am starting to get worried. My issue is that I will be moving in September (I know it is still a few weeks away) If we can start a spreadsheet for the timeline from when they landed to when they received their PR card, so that we can see how long it has really taken.

Thanks for your help!

Current processing times for new PR cards are 69 calendar days or around 10 weeks. So your experience is normal and your card isn't late. Unfortunately the immigration officers aren't always up to date on PR card processing times. The CIC web site is your best source for accurate information.

I would factor in another week or two for mailing time.

Did you get the PR and how long time it took?

I got it by mail in the first week if August. I had called them and they said it was mailed on July 31.
