Standard timeline was 14 weeks, now 15 weeks. But our applications has passed those timelines. One keeps worried all these while.
Did you link your paper application to your online CIC acct?? You can track there.

There are few cases in the forum wherein the decision was delayed but at the end they go their study permit. If they want to reject you then whats the point of holding your application. They could have rejected it long back. Delay could also mean that they are doing their checks or gathering more info.

There was an applicant whose application was delayed and later got to know that CIC had sent his offer letter to the college to verify that it is a real one and not fake so have patience.

But it's unfair. Processing time when I applied was 9weeks , now it's 15weeks but my application is in its 23week

What baffles me most is that I already have a visitor visa which is valid until August 2021. I only applied for Study permit, I thought my application would be faster. But it wasn't as I thought.

Did you use your visitor visa?
