DELAY IN GETTING VISA

I HAVE APPLIED FOR STUDENT VISA ON 13TH JUNE 2017 STILL HAVNT GOT RESPONSE FREM CIC. IT HAS BEEN 60 DAYS. THIS IS MY SENCON TIME. ANYONE CAN HELP ME HOWLONG DOES IT TAKE??

I'm still waiting I applied on 4th Nov 2016 till now it is August,2017 I'm still waiting my application was last updated on 29th, July

Hi Nirav. Even I'm waiting for visa. I applied on June 9 2017. Still in process. My college is reopening on September 5 2017.

Have you applied from inside Canada?
I applied from inside Canada on July 18th, 2017. Still no passport request letter.
I emailed CIc and called them and was told my application was transferred to NewYork for further verification (Security checks).
This is unreal! I lost 700$ from my flight ticket! I could not go for a family event. I changed my flight for christmas. It might take months for them to security check on me!!!!!!! What a joke I've been living in Canada for 4 years now. Only went 2 months back home for vacation. What kind of security checks do they need?! What a random non sense immigration system!
