thank you for the info,actualy yesterday i called service canada because my aplication is already 1 month from the day they apply my sin mail aplication thats to long for a new sin

Yes, it takes too long, I've been waiting for more than 2 months and still haven't get my sin yet.

No, I am not a permanent resident, I have a post-graduation work permit, which allows me to work in Canada.

I went to Service Canada office on august 29th, the stuff told me that my information is not valid in her computer, she explained it is a systematic problem, and this problem will make me take longer time to get my sin, now I am still waiting....

my advice you should call immigration and tell your situation like what i did since they were the one who issued your documents you should call them

Yes, they tell me that there is something wrong with my work permit, they already sent a email to Canada pacific border (where I get my work permit from) to correct the error. Now, I still need to wait...
