delay in GCMS any one ?

Hi ,

I ordered for my GCMS on 24/25 October 2012 through lawpoint/visafile. I got an email confirmation on 25th Oct, saying the have sent it for processing ? I was hoping to get it in a month, like last time...but this time,its being delayed.
I wrote to visafile and they replied saying, only after 45 days, they will remind CIC.

Anybody else facing delay in getting GCMS recently ?

I have received my GCMS after 60 days ,so do not worry everything is OK.I also applied through Lawpoint,and at last after so much delay i got it.
You will get yours soon.

Hi, thx for your message. Can you please tell me when you applied and when you got it ? CIC is obliged to release the information in a specific time frame, failing which, they should advice on the delay through email. Lawpoint, say they haven't received any email yet, about any possible delay !

I applied for GCMS in the end of september and got in the end of November.I wrote to Lawpoint a lot and got the same answer as you.But anyway i got it.I know it is difficult to wait but don' worry you'll get it soon.Only i do not understand what is the reason of delay.

Hi maran.....it happened with me......its not the mistake of visafile guys.....the processing office that processed ur GCMS request might have lost ur request.....don't worry you'll get it

Hi Jaggy, I was just hoping that these guys would remind CIC as the stipulated 30 days had passed..How many days did it take for you ?
With the Xmas holidays approaching, I think will get MR and GCMS notes at the same time, lol.

I got it exactly on the 56th day.....the stipulated time is 45 days and not 30......so the visafile guys cannot contact the processing office before 45days.....nothing you can do except wait.....keep in constant touch with visafile.

hi, i ordered my CAIPS on oct 22nd thru a friend of mine who is in canada, we applied it directly to CIC and not thru and private agency. He got an email on 22nd Nov saying that they need another 30 days time to process the request. looks like accross the board this is getting delayed
