Degrees verification after ITA

Hi guys. I received an invitation to apply (ITA). I had WES validate my United States degrees and they sent me a certificate confirming that they are valid. Now for the part where I have to upload the backup documentation, they ask me to upload my degrees again.

Do I really need to upload my degrees again, or can I just upload the document from WES certifying that my degrees are valid?

I uploaded mu degree, transcript and my WES document as well. Better add an extra document rather than less. But to answer your question CIC requires your degree( or letter of graduation from your university) for sure.

Gotta love the requirement of paying $400 to a third party for degrees validation, only to be requested the same items again.

However, if I didn't have said degrees, how would WES be able to evaluate their Canadian equivalency? Seems like a process gap to me.

I don't understand the "again" part. You sent your degree to WES for validation, and they sent back a certificate. WES and CIC are two different entities. Now, with your invitation, you combine your diploma and your WES certificate into one pdf and upload it. And BTW, WES doesn't confirm the validity - they evaluate it in comparison with a Canadian degree.

Pretty sure WES would not have been able to validate anything if my degrees did not exist.

I Created my Express entry profile and says CEC met becos i put the funds less than 10000$

questions are :

1. i have a canadian masters degree and indian Bachelors degree [Do i need an ECA] PLEASE HELP I READ LOT OF POSTS NOT ABLE TO GET TO A CONCLUSION
2. Though i have experience in India I have not mentioned it in Express Entry Work History. is that ok ??

1) You probably need an ECA for the Indian degree because it was not issued by a Canadian institution. For instance, I had to get both my degrees validated even though they were issued by universities in the United States that are older than Canada itself.
