DEFINING VISIT VS LIVING

We are applying for PR. My wife stayed for almost 6 months (less than 6months) in USA with here sister as a tourist. Would this be considered a visit to be placed under Personal activity, or would it be considered as lived there?

A stupid question for me but you have the wiser mind. Thanks

That's "visiting". Consider the type of visa used i.e. 'tourist visa' = 'visiting'.
