I applied for humber college GBM course for September intake ,I got this offer accepted yesterday(19-07-2014). I havent paid the tution fees .Now I am confused if I should apply for september intake or not because last date for visa application is 1 August (few days are left).I have few queries:

(1) Is it possible to apply for september intake or should I deffer to january intake?(i ll apply for gic on 21st july)
(2) What is the procedure for deffer?
(3) Do i need re pay the application fees for january intake?

Confirm with the college about application fee n this is not the right time to apply for sep intake

You wont be able to make in this intake, because
if you will apply GIC tomorrow then they will take 2 to 4 working days to make your account and then it will take again 2 to 3 days to transfer your amount into GIC account and then GIC will take again 3 to 4 working days to give you receipt back so count the total working days, Sadly you wont be able to make in this session, and the other queries you asked us , you should better email the college and ask them only they can tell you clearly.

Dude, Don't loose hope. People got visa who applied after 1st august, Hell, they got visa who applied after 10th august. So try to make it for this session otherwise your wish. Apply for GIC asap

how can they accept visa application if last date for submission is 31July ?

but its written here http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/india-inde/visas/checklist-student-SPP-liste-etudes-PPE.aspx clearly that APPLICATIONS RECEIVED AFTER DEADLINES ARE LIKELY BE REFUSED, so why increase our chances of refusal and give them reason to refuse application deliberately.

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING APPLICATION DEADLINES:
We strongly recommend that you submit your application at least three months ahead of your proposed date of travel. Applications that are received after 01 April for May entry, after 01 August for September entry and after 01 December for January entry will not normally be processed in time for the start of classes and will likely be refused.


Mind the words above " we strongly recommend , will not be normally processed, likely be refused , "

hey i'm saying for mate, that if he wants to apply for the visa after 1st aug, he can there're chances of getting visa. moreover, visa doesn't get rejected on if you apply after deadline.

Last year my me and many friends applied our visa near deadline , hell some even applied after 10th, 15th aug, and they got visa and moreover those were the ppl who applied second or third time. As long as you're applyin' before your college starts you're good to go.

CIC requires you to apply early because sometimes your application doesn't process at time. but I haven't saw any single file that hasn't process on time and moreover they don't reject you if you apply late. they would you reject, on a genuine basis.

mate apply for GIC asap n then pay your tution fees. If u do two things at time, might be able to make it. Evn i am also waiting for GIC. Dont wry, just apply. And do not give CIC a reason to reject u, if ur case is strong enuf thn u wont be refused evn u apply aftr 1st aug
