Deferred Admission

Hi Mates, Is it possible to defer my admission after receiving my visa approval? I had plan to travel to see my mom for two weeks who is ill before going to Canada but I still don’t have my visa approved. I have to travel and can only send my passport for stamping when I come back in September. My mom doesn’t live in India. Can someone help me with this question and do I have to notify RICC?

You have to speak with the school and see if they will defer your admission. You will then have to see if you get a visa.

Thanks already checking with the school just wanted to know if I need to inform RICC once I get deferred letter from school?

You can submit your passport to the VFS of whichever country you are traveling to. You just need to attach the Passport Request Letter that you get in your online account once your visa is approved.

I had applied for my mom's visa from another country but submitted her passport in India for stamping.
