I have a approved visa from December 31 2020 to Dec 2021 . Also my studies are deferred to may 21 intake from January after getting visa due to personal reasons . So do I need to inform ircc about these for study extension . Or can I travel with visa already I have and change it after reached canada

I will advise you to inform ircc as soon as possible. If you dont inform it would be the violation of rules. If you are lucky then it will no problem but if they can suspect it would bring trouble to you. Best Of Luck!
if your deferral is less than 150 days then you dont need to inform ircc
Earliest you can travel to Canada is 1 month before classes. When you arrive in Canada they will ask for proof of enrolment in the upcoming semester and if u are not enrolled in a term starting in the next 30 days they will send you back to your home country. You can confirm this by calling cbsa international help line (https://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/eservices/contact-ressource-eng.html)
