Deemed rehabilitated in Skilled Worker PR Application

We submitted our PR application to the Bogota VO with the inclusion of concluding our case to be deemed rehabilitated based on a Canadian criminal attorney's opinion that the US convictions are not considered crimes in Canada and also having occurred over 10 years ago.

Has anyone submitted a PR application with deemed rehabilitation and did you run any issues during the background check?

I think it might depend on the nature and seriousness of that crime. Since your Canadian criminal attorney had give you a good to go, I think, you should be good to go ahead.
