Hi there,
I have received my ITA, however, while checking documents I have found 5 errors in my profile. None of these errors have changed my score. I am concerned that even if I do address them in my LOE it will be viewed harshly by officers.
The mistakes were
1st - I have used the wrong noc code for a short term job at home. This job was only two months and it would have changed from an A to B. 2nd - for this job I put the wrong start date. I used Jan 16 instead of Dec 15. At this point I am unable to find supporting documents for this job. I don’t believe this job will affect my foreign workers score as I have 18 months of it and I received points for 1 - 2 years.
3rd- I used the wrong dates on a job I was claiming points for foreign experience. I used Mar 15 as my start date instead of April 15. With the correct dates my foreign work experience is 18 months. I received 26 points from foreign work experience so I believe that’s 1 to 2 years. This change in start date wouldn’t affect my score
4th- I used the incorrect date for a short two week contract here in Canada I put Jan 18 instead of Feb 2018. I don’t believe this would have been counted towards my Canadian experience as I didn’t start my next work experience until May 2018
5th - I used the start date of Jan 2015 instead of Feb 2015 for an unskilled job I received no points for however I still need to provide documentation for.
Would it be best to decline the application and start a new profile excluding these short term and unskilled jobs? I didnt not fully understand the points system when first submitting. These are small mistakes on my end made in haste. My score was 479 last time so I believe I have a good chance of getting selected again. However, my visa expires on 26 December.
Thanks,
