declared son but non-accompanying! Need help!!

I am sponsoring my husband., he has already a passport request and re medical., since it's been 3 month's from the PPR! The embassy emailed my husband for the examination of his son! But the thing is he doesnt have any form of communication to his son since the relationship to his ex -wife been ended., we have submitted a Affidavit of explanation about it., and we emailed the embassy also about it.,
any suggestion? What is the best thing to do., because we declared that he has a son but he will not be going in the canada or even in the future for we dont know where the child is. Thank you in advance!

I would re-send the affadavit along with a letter stating he understands if his son isn't examined now, he can never sponsor the child in the future.

Thank you amykety! Yes we did that already.,via e-mail.,that he understand the fact that he was not able to sponsor his son in the future.,but its kinda nervous., can we send it again by mail? With the birth certificate of the child because they requesting it as well., thank you

Yes, send it signature required so you have proof they got it.
