'DECISSION MADE' with history of 'FT'[foreign travel] cases

This is the first time I'm hearing of the FTH issue, but I had assumed that it would be extra-long in my case (lots of addresses, a number of PCCs required, the worst part - unable to get them all...). I have just submitted under CEC, but the security check would be the same...

Any updates bro? I really dont know whats happening as it has really slowed now or what? I have neither done FBI nor anything from Canada as I dont need to,but I too am waiting for long. Guys who have submitted well after r through. Gut feeling is all will be made to decision made on a single day who has FTH and waiting for so long. Are PNP and FSW applications processed seperately when it comes to security check? Going nuts now!!!!!!!!

I know what u r going through, have no idea but in this age of computers its hard to believe that it should take so long to check on someone and for u that 2 in Canada, its hard to believe my friend. Everybody travels nowdays so whats big in that.

Sitting at home doing nothing drives u crazy further. Really dont whether to look for job in India or what?????????
Its high time and things should happen now!!!!

Hi Ice Cube,

Since I have applied under PNP i had only one AOR which does not say about time period.though it mentions that my case will be expedited. This AOR came along with medical,RPRF and PP request on 24th Feb 2010 which was delivered to me on 2nd March 2010.

Security checks are done after medical clearance report and done on only few files if they doubt that potential immigrant is a threat to national security eg if some one name is similar to someone in list of black list organization's database.....it is just one factor and they consider several other factors before considering the file for security check by CSIS>>>>

Basically, its a database that stores all information on your immigration applications processed inside Canada (study permit, work permit etc). If you are in Canada, you can call CIC and ask them to check your FOSS record for specific information. I heard before that if there is security screening done on your app, the remarks about that should be in FOSS as well.
