Mine was DM on the 10th. No passport request either. Senior members have told me that it's because I'm from a visa-exempt country (US) so no visa is needed for my passport.

I got passport request January 9,2015 too and sent it soon by our agency today..the letter said they cannot change what you can see online due to thousands of applications in process...my ecas doesn't change anything,just application received..don't base on that,just wait.. after passport will be visa as well..

A.A! Hoping u will be fine and having good health. I inquired from LVO through e-mail and their reply (about a week ago) is as under.
“Dear Applicant,
We are writing with regards to your application for permanent residence in Canada.
We haven’t sent you a passport request. Please note that this file is still ongoing routine background checks.
We will be in touch when they are complete."

Kindly share experience how much further time it takes to complete routine background checks, pls?

Salam, which one date (from written below) i have to count as starting date for processing of my application for 11 months at LVO,Pls?

1. ATIP notes shows, (Application is transferred at LVO on 12 January, 2014)
2. E-CAS log-in shows, (Processing of Application is stared at LVO on 30 April, 2014)

Given that your file was transferred from Islamabad, the normal processing times aren't really applicable.

Also, stop spamming the forum by posting every single query in multiple threads. You posted this particular query 5 times in the space of 14 minutes. Pick a thread, post once and wait for an answer.
