yes, ottawa usually sends the COPR by regular mail, so be on the lookout for a brown envelope from CIC. If you did not have an interview, then you can expect your COPR. If you are visa exempt, more likely than not your PPR was waived. This is common practice for the Ottawa visa office.VHMMBC said:Its the Ottawa office. But I am Austrian, don`t know why they send it to Ottawa instead of Vienna.
They never asked for my passport or anything, but as I am austrian I don`t need a visa.
So you think they will send a letter to me by post? That is hard, because post from canada to austria will take ages
I hate this process, I should be excited right now because they processed my application so fast, but instead I am worried now.
again, if there was no interview, then the likely hood the decision is negative is very low. this is how ottawa works.VHMMBC said:Yes I am visa exempt, I was never asked for my passport and I was never asked for an interview. They asked for more prove of my intentions to move to canada, I mailed it a couple of weeks ago and never heard anything again from them.
That leads to another question....lets say the decision is positive, I never expected them to be so fast. Would it be a problem to fly to canada just to land there but then go back to austria for a couple of month to finish my work and everything here?
Can I ask what it said on your Ecas site before it said "Decision Made"? Did it ever change from "Application Received"? I'm curious!VHMMBC said:Yes I am visa exempt, I was never asked for my passport and I was never asked for an interview. Hey that's great news for you! I think my application is similar to yours, it was sent to Ottawa instead of London and they also asked for more proof of intent to return to Canada from me, the sponsor, and they received that by post last week, so that's really good to hear yours has been processed quickly Can ask when you're application was first received at Mississauga and when you got sponsorship approval?VHMMBC said:Yes I am visa exempt, I was never asked for my passport and I was never asked for an interview.
