Decision made - What next?

Ecas says:
Sponsorship Application Status - Decision Made
Permanent Residence Application Status - Decision Made

Decision made is there since ca. one week.
The medical results have been approved.
The sponsor received the approval letter by e-mail and I got the AIP letter online on my account on the 25th last month.

But on my online account it still says:
• We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements
• We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
• Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.


1. Why does it say this on my online account, if I already received the AIP saying I do meet the eligibility requirements and a decision has been made already according to ecas?
2. Can it be that the agent working on the application has just not updated my online account yet?
3. Will I get another letter saying the PR application has been approved?
4. After Decision Made, how long can it take until I receive COPR ?
5. Will I get COPR by mail?
6. Will I have to send in my passport even if I am in Canada and I have a visitor record until 2021?

1 & 2. The GCKey account always says "in progress" even if there is a message saying "approved" until the final steps are done - that is, landing.

3. Everything is odd right now about PR - you may get a phone call, you may get an email, you may get a letter saying "you're now a PR."

4. No one knows right now.

5. Sometimes by mail. sometimes by email, sometimes no COPR just a letter.

5 (the second one). Not at the moment, no.

No, still nothing. But PR has been approved as they said by phone. I check the status every day online to see if there is something new.

I checked my application online today for PR and it says Decision Made, but no further information yet, I dont know how many more weeks or months I need to wait to get my application finalized.

yes I did, on 23.03 and the PR on 20.08
