Decision Made to Oath timeline

Hello Members,

My eCAS status shows 'Decision Made' with following line.

4. We sent you a notice on Sept DD, 2015 to appear and write the citizenship test on Sept DD, 2015 at XX:XX AM/PM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

We had applied in Sept 2014 and had received Questions. The test and interview was completed in Sept 2015. Still awaiting the invitation for oath. Could some one advise

i. What is the normal timeline taken in Mississauga office.
ii. Since we need to proceed on vacation for one month from Christmas, should I call the CIC office to inform them? I am afraid if the letter come while we are on vacation.
iii. Is there any advantage / disadvantage in calling CIC?

Hi Susa,

I had my test on sept.17th at Mississauga and it just turned to Decision Made. I too have no Oath date showing yet. I think best to wait for letter.

I am going to call CIC tomorrow (Monday) and I will try to find out when my Oath is since I have final exams coming up. I would like to know beforehand to inform the college.

I am not sure if they will inform me or not.

You can try calling for sure. Doesn't hurt. Good luck!
