Hello friends,
I am too one of the applicants under the old system and received the same 'decision made' on my ecas and at the same time I am also one of the litigants of lawyer Cohan. My visa office is New Delhi. It looks like CIC is bent on to wipe this old applicants' bunch some how or the other, particularly so when we are the ones who filed the class action suit.
If they have stopped processing our files since march 2012, how can they say now that the decision is made on our file!!! Something is wrong ......or this step might help us to push our case forward. I have not received any letter or information in concrete, once I do so I too will let Mr. Cohan know about it.
And please let me know what this CAIPS is or how to get it?
Please do share information as we are victims.

DM is in ecase to those who applied after august 2004 new delhi whether they are litigant or not.In earlier system selection decision in CAIPS is 0 even after visa officer enters a positive selection decision in paper files. As you know on march 29 2012 files without SELDEC is terminated. So to avoid terminating files wrongly, visa officers were ordered to manually verify paper files before nov 2012. After this up to july 2004 is in process and rest DM. We think those who are in process may belong to positively selected files and others are terminated files, but there is no strong evidence to prove this. We all doubt in the efficiency and accountability of CIC so if after some letter received only then we can conclude something.

Do you think that through CAIPS we actually know the reason, or we have to wait for the letter ?

so far none of the pre feb applicants of new delhi got any information about his application thru CAIPS. They wont respond to CSE too..So no way out of this ridiculous situation

January 15, 2013

Day one in the class action proceeding has concluded. The Honourable Mr. Justice Rennie heard arguments from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. I made extensive submissions for over two hours asking the Court to strike the law on constitutional grounds as having no force and effect. Applicant’s arguments will end by 12:00 p.m. tomorrow at which time the Department of Justice will present its responding arguments. We will keep you posted.

My Status in Dec was "IN Process" and in Jan become "DM" and now it is blank (shows nothing). I am Litigant and no doc. updates or any progress in my case since 2005.

But my status remained DM, I am not litigant and submitted all documents with application in December 2006.I think litigants application status changed from DM to Blank, depending on the decision court will take.
