Decision made - PR Application

Hi,

I am sponsoring my wife under Family Class. This morning I checked the status and it says Decision Made. On Friday it was In Progress. There is no email sent.

Can anyone please inform if they will send an email or it will be a letter by post? Is there any way to know if that's a positive or negative decision?

My wife is from a visa exempt country (UK) and currently staying with me in Toronto. Just wanted to inform, they asked for additional information at the beginning of this month which we provided within a week.

Most likely positive or you would have been asked for an interview but nothing is ever certain. You should receive an email shortly. Again sorry but hard to predict what shortly means.

if she's visa exempt and did not receive a passport request (which is normal for some visa exempt applicants), then more than likely she will receive her COPR (approval paper) in regular mail at the address in her application. keep an eye out for a brown envelope. depending where it is being mailed from/to, it can take 1-4 weeks for it to arrive.

any suggestion>>?? i emailed them back already until now no response


"This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada. Please see attached letter for details.

The file number noted above must be included on all correspondence with this office."

Start a new thread with your question. That way you are likely to get more response.

generally, a member needs to have a certain number of posts to be able to start a new thread. probably why this poster keeps posting in multiple threads.

This is the recent trend in Manila VO, a lot of people last week me included (Dec. 9) their ECAS PA side status changed to DM, yet received no letter. I hope to hear positive news like you very soon! ;D
