If we get a negative decision made after interview, do we get a procedural fairness letter first or the decision made first?
My hubby had his interview yesterday. The woman was concerned about my previous marriage, and that i have 5 kids, where he has never been married before, and no children. Also there is an age gap. The interviewer told him shed have to go over his file again and would contact him. She hasnt yet, but we now have DM. Any thoughts?

Based on other cases I’ve heard of, the interview is sort of like your PFL. However, if they want to give you another chance based on the fact that they need more information, they would send PFL. Otherwise, it would just be a straight out negative DM.

You would not get a PFL. That interview is essentially a PFL in person.

Actually ive gotten a load of info. And if she had any concerns regarding a document, she was to send the pfl, and give time to get that information. Because the onus is on us, the operations manual states that we are to be given procedural fairness in obtaining that document. I gave a very detailed explanation as to why we didnt have that document, and therefore she was required to allow proof of me being unable to obtain it besides the letter. Ex, emails or letter from the authorites responsible in issuing that document.

Hello,
After receiving a pfl (sponsor proof of intent to return) weve sent the documents...after 10 days the status changed to decision made (for principle applicant) and no emails recieved,
What does that mean

That means that you will need to wait to find out. We can't tell whether the visa officer is convinced or not.

Hi I'm also in the same boat as you. Could you please tell me what kind of questions did your husband had to face at the interview as I'm waiting for my husband to be interviewed. We are waiting for a date to be scheduled. Due to covid 19 everything is slow. Please do reply me back.
