Hi Guys,

My ecas changed from Application Received to Decision Made on October 28th, 2013, see my ecas notes below:

Application Status:
Permanent Residence:
1-We received your application for permanent residence on November 2, 2012.

2-We started processing your application on October 24, 2013.

3-Medical results have been received.

4-A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Also, my GCMC notes were received on October 1st.

Eligibility: In Progress - Recommended Passed
Criminality: In Progress
Security: Not Started
Medical: Not Started

Text:
FOSS/GCMC check: no adverse info. Temporary resident status authorized during CEC qualifying period. Civil status: married, spouse declared. No children declared. Work Experience: NOC 2231 declared. PA has been employed on a full-time basis by xxx company as a Civil Engineering Technologist since 15/08/2011. Business online verification performed. No concerns about business trustworthiness an PA's employment and work experience as stated in letter. Supporting docs appear sufficient to demonstrate experience in this NOC code. Additional documents are tax documents, job-offer letters and paystubs that appear to verify his past working experience in Canada Language: IELTS submitted, meets benchmark for work experience at this skill level. Education: credential as Construction Engineering Technician & Civil Engineering Technology granted on 17/06/2010 & 21/06/2011 respectively, by xxxx College. Transcript appear sufficient to demonstrate at least 2 years FTE studies in Canada. All required PCs received and there seems to be no A35/36/37 concerns evident. No additional docs required at this time.

My question here, it has been almost a month since the decision made, and I have not heard anything. I am just too concerned if this is a bad thing.

Your opinion is really appreciated.
Thanks.

If you don't have any medical concerns (you should know that following your medical check-up), no previous criminal issues (most people usually know about that too) and you are not a security threat - you have nothing to worry about. You will get your PPR one of those days. Also, make sure you check your junk email , it happened before that PPR email found it way to the junk mailboxes.

My status changed in September. No PPR yet.

All my emails to CIC did not get me any replies from them. Finally I asked my local MP to contact CIC and ask them what is going on and they told the MP That they have been waiting for a passport from me since June...

So, I sent them my passport without a formal PPR 2 weeks ago. Now I am waiting to get the passport back and hope that the Visa is stamped on it.

I would recommend sending CIC an email to see if they reply, and if not then ask your local MP to get a status update from CIC.

I got below auto reply from CIC when I sent an EMail.

Case Processing Pilot – Ottawa (“CPP-O”) and will respond to it shortly if:
·Your application is in process at CPP-O AND is outside the standard processing times
·You notify us of a change in your marital status, the birth of a child, the death of a family member, or the withdrawal of your application
·You notify us of a change in your contact information
·You send us information we have requested

I think if the details not fall-in this then it may be delay in response or they may not send reply also.

Hi,
My ecas also changed from Application Received to Decision Made on October 28th, 2013. Since then nothing.
Medical received, RPRF and Biodata also.
I am worry.....
Any advice ?

Thanks

if decision is made and no PPR yet its most likely security and/or criminality is still ongoing otherwise no reason for cpp-ottawa to keep your file open if its ready to be finalized.

Criminality I know what it is, but security - I don`t have any idea what it is?
Please some explanation

Thanks

I`m visa exempt.

Tweedle dum tweedle dee.

I'm in the same boat. DM.

Did you request gcms recently? It should tell you if criminality is In progress.

Security is not disclosed - once security is started, all details including status is removed from gcms. However, if you closely check the activity section, if you see 3 entries for security, I feel security is set passed.

Security - not started
Security - (in progress)
Security - (passed)

Hopefully, It could be done soon.
