Hi, I appreciate if someone can help me.

On enquiring about application status on web form, I received a reply that a decision has been made on my PR application. However I haven’t received any PPR email or any update in my online account. Do someone knows how longs its takes to get ppr after a decision has been made? Thanks in advance

Depends on the visa office. There are about 12-15 on June thread who have been waiting for 50+ days post final approval for PPR mail. All have files in Sydney VO.

That’s heart breakning!! I am already 10 months from AOR.
My vo is ottawa. I hope for the best. Fingers crossed.

Ottawa is your best chance buddy. So all the best! Good thing your file is not at Sydney.
Hi @cansha, thanks for the information. Can I ask you 1 more questions. In GCMS, I have 2 secondary offices, ottawa and Vergeville. But I heard Vergeville office is been shut down. So did it means only ottawa is taking care of my file?

I don't know about the other office shutting down but my guess its mostly Ottawa that will issue your PPR.

It is really strange because in the past Ghost update usually means PPR comes after. My case is quite weird. My BC status was "We're processing your background check..." since AOR, even before MEP. BC status has never ever changed till now, but I had two consecutive Ghost updates on Nov. 29th and 30th. However, I received no email notification about those updates... Not sure if my application has been approved.. no ADR either. As far as I know, most other people applied from China in August through FSW also have not received PPR, and most of them changed to IP2 in late November..

It all depends upon visa office as well. Some take more time to issue ppr. We just need to play waiting game here
