Thanks Parhar and Raj,

I lived in Canada for almost 5 years before so, hopefully it will not be difficult to start life again there.

I hope I will not have to wait for a long time from here to get the visa.

I pray for everyone here who have been waiting for visa for a long time.

Guys,

After sending a email to Minister in late June 14, I got a call from NDVO two days back (18 Aug, 14). The guy on the phone was Indian. HE said They had sent me an email on 14 July 2014 asking for 4 photos for me and my spouse. He mentioned these photos would go on the COPR and Landing Papers. The reason he called me because that mail was bounced back and he asked me to confirm the email id which I gave him.

I asked him that our passports are with them for more than a year so how long more will it take. He said first you send me the photos asap because they can not use the photos taken more than a year ago.

Now, I already sent them the photos but, I hope this time they won't take long.

Guys, It worked with me when I sent an email to Minister in June and in July CHC, ND emailed me requesting photos. Yes, the mail bounced but, the point is they tried to contact me.

Dear Jack
Need some info from you.
After remedical what all docs did they ask you.
Or nothing, only Photos...
Raj

After medicals request along with PP (first time) last year, they asked for remedicals this year and then after 3 months now, they asked for photos.

Friends,

I got a call from NDVO asking for the photocopies(not the original) of passport bio-page.
Anyone in this forum got such a request?
Any speculation on the reason for such a request? Appreciate your valuable comments.

Thanks,KRG

Dear KRG,

I remember that they have sent back the passports back to you that's why.
Other VOs follow another process PPR-1 and then PPR-2 after medicals.
In PPR-1 they ask for the bio page of the passports.
(If anyone from London VO can confirm reg this that would be good.)
Once you submit the bio page of your passports they will send you PPR-2 which is the actual passport request.
Wish you all the best!!
Thanks,
Raj
Note:- These are my opinion and may not be an authorative response.

Thanks Raj for the response. You are right, I got my PP back on June14 and my re-medical was done on March14. Do you have any idea about the timeline between PPR-1 & PPR2?
Another info I got is that, CIC has a plan to clear all 2010 pending cases by Jan2015. Anyone heard such a news?
Regards,KRG.

Here is the reply i got from minister pl. comment

This is in reply to your e-mail of August 25, 2014, addressed to Mr. Chris Alexander, Canada’s Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, about the processing of your application for permanent residence.
Our records indicate that you application is in process. Application delays can occur when additional information from applicants or if the documents provided by the applicants need further verification.
The officers are currently waiting for document verification once this completed they should be able to finalize your application.

Dear friends,

I had received re-medicals, and my bp was 150/80, serum creatinine 1.6(normal is 1.3)!
What is your opinion ..will that go to a furtherence again?

(During my first medicals, my BP was 140/90, and creatinine was 1.7.-This resulted in a
furtherence in which they asked a cardio report. That went fine.)

Thanks,
Raj

Hi Rajcanada, my husband received remedical and was asked the samething they asked you. Could you please advise how you did it?

Did the physician fill all the forms (including the IMM5419) Because I don't know if my husband needs to bring all the forms or just the one that was attached (Re-assessment form). Any help will be much appreciated.

Dear All,
