A friend of mine is about to apply under fsw 2014. He is told to get his birth certificate though he also has his matriculation certificate. Is it a new rule that if one is born before or after 1985 (one of these, dont remember), he has to have the birth certificate. If anyone has such an experience, please share.

Yes Birth certificate is mandatory now a days with DOB after 1/1/1990.......As now PSK also need Birth certificate for making new PP if DOB is after 1/1/1990....

V toughest thing to make BIRTH CERTIFICATE in my area i.e. Punjab.

Thanks Guramar. My friend n his wife both were born before 1987. Still the agent told them they need it. Will tell them to confirm the same from another agent. Others ....... please comment.
