Below is my timeline

App submitted September 2011
Interview - June 2013
Medical and Passport submitted July 2013

Now I am not sure what is going on with my application. I am planning to order caips. Can someone please advise from where to order caips. I keep checking my application status but every time it shows "in process". One of my friend who applied in Jan 2013 and submitted passport with Medicals in Nov 2013 , has already got his passport back. Not sure why is there a delay at my end so wanted to go through caips. I did email VO in New Delhi but didn't get any reply from them

Hi, For order Caips notes go to www.visafile.info , fee $25us . i have applied through visafile and got 31 days.

I got DM on 31/01/2014 and Passport with corp on 03/02/2014.
visa issue date 28/01/2014 and expiring on 05/03/2014. I m flying on 20/02/2014.

hi,members my friend also applied in fsw 2013 he submitted his passport in month of december.he has very urgent work in abroad,so he wrote e-mail to NDVO.today he got reply from NDVO in that they mention your file is waiting for final review by officer.so, what does it means please reply.

This implies that he will get decision made within next 10-15 days...something similar happened with me and I was planning to pull my passports but then I got an update that the file is waiting for final review by the officer and within 10 days I got DM. Generally final review by officer is to check that everything is in order and the file has passed the criminal background checks etc.

I am not an expert but just sharing what has happened in my case. Hope this help.

I have a query for you.
Did they call you and ask for your consent that if you would be able to land in this short to time? I mean the visa issue date is 28 jan and expiry is 5 march so only 36 days of time you got to land within.

If I talk about myself, my med expiry date is 6 april 2014 and passports with them since ages... God knows if they will send me pp back with VISA as I got only 60 days from now.
