Hello there

there is still few of us who are unfortunate and waiting,as u can see I have applied in May 2010 started processing in April 2012,file transferred to Paris VO in Apr 2013 and they asked for medicals that was done on Apr 22,2013 and medical recived line seen on May 10 2013 since then we were stuck by the Strike and every communication they replied that BG check is on going then 2 month ago they said that my file is back to London VO .Upon contact with London VO they reply that my file is waiting Officer review ,last month I reminded them that my medicals will expire in 1 month time and we are ready to move in short notice but twice they asnwered the same your file is waiting for review.

Now medicals expired and on 23/4/14 same reply again ,feels frustrated to see all the new file processed quickly and faster while we are still stuck ,happy for everyone who gets his visa and praying for those who did not ,but really 4 years of waiting is killing us .

guys wha is your opinion will they extend medicals or if not when they will send remedicals?

Do you think the Corona Virus issue in Saudiarabia will delay the remedicals since I am currently residing in Jeddah?

By reading the above and many other posts referring to the medicals getting expired,... Sometimes I feel a nexus between VO and the hospitals for bringing in a situation of the medical results getting expired and we the helpless ppl has to again run for re-medicals resulting in more financial commitments.

Looks like VISA has been stamped based on VFS tracking for all our 4 passports.
"Visa application, tracking ID No.XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX– Your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office NEW DELHI, on 07/05/2014 to the Canada Visa Application Centre.To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website"

DM was on 30 April, passports reached VFS on 29 Apr.

Now to get it in my hands. Well it was a small risk i took. I am in the US and i sent my family to India with my passport for this purpose and other emergencies.
I have been staying alone in the US for the past 3 months witout seeing my family. Now I have to arrange them to come to US and then we will fly to Niagra and then take a rental car and do the landing if all is well..

Is there any Background checks after Medicals were recieved and prior to DM. It has almost a month and normally i have seen many of the formites getting in less than 30 days.

Please share your thoughts on the MR--> DM process.

If you are Principal applicant give authority letter to your family member to collect Passport, else they will not handover the same

Dear all, I sent a mail to cic telling we are ready to move on short notice on 28th and on the next day, yesterday, BINGO..... They called us asking if we can move n a few other things like native language to fill in a form. Then they said we should receive the visas this week. Finally.

We got a call from Embassy on 29th April and they reconfirmed that in case we are ready to move on short notice, they will send us the visa. In the end of the call they confirmed that they will send the visa in a matter of days.
However, there is no change in VFS status till now. Can anybody comment if this delay of so many days is normal? We have 30 days for our medicals to expire.

We have 24 days left for the medicals to expire. Will they send the visa now? How much are the chances? In case they send re-medicals, how much time can the entire process take for the visa?
Seniors and others please comment.
We have been sending them mailers that we are ready to move on short notice and we do not want re-medicals.
