My latest E-cas status change came on Saturday which was Friday in Canada!

So these logic on time-lines are self-made projections and I feel that things can happen anytime here.

So let's remain hopeful every time..

Quite true....these are just self-made projections. Usually, the case-worker does not update the information on the website. They do it on a tool. The tool updates the website periodically. It usually takes 3 days before the update is reflected on the website. There have been instances from I have seen where the updates have happened on Canadian public holidays too. Weekends are no exception.

Dear Uday,

eCAS for NDVO applicants is updated by whom? officials at New Delhi or in Canada? this will give us an idea about the time zone being followed for updation.

also please give your experiences on the much talked initial struggle in canada especially for survival.... hunting for job, accomodation, kids schooling, climate hazards etc. please compare what you expected and what you got.

Really appreciate if anyone got his/her CAIPS notes after status changed from "In Process" to "DM" so that actual reason may be seen. Please share. especially pre-2008 applicants. Thanks
 
Anyone here from MI 1 who has finished medicals and the status has changed to "Medicals received" ?

My observation is that those who got the visa recently, had this "Medicals received" line added to their status aswell.

So is the "Medicals received" line the next logical milestone? or will it be DM directly..
