So I am familiar with a case where ECAS just changed to "Decision Made" last week. There is no notice of an oath date, but this person's FOSS clearance will expire at the end of next week. Will CIC attempt to schedule and oath before the clearance expiration or does it not matter anymore since a decision appears to have been made? (Assuming this has been approved).

Probably it will not affect the oath, decision made means that they have approved the application, the applicant's name is in the waiting list for oath...

Thanks! Yeah, wasn't sure if the clearance had to be good up to oath or only up to approval.

Has to be valid as at oath. The approver is not necessarily the oath scheduler.

What is a FOSS?
