I'm from EGYPT,
My timeline reads the following

We received your application for permanent residence on July 4, 2013.
We started processing your application on January 8, 2014.
Medical results have been received.
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Its been like that for almost 2 weeks now and I got no emails or letters from CIC so far
What does that mean ??

Did u submit ur passport then u got ur visa otherwise it is a refusal case,
