Decision made but did not receive mail

Hi,

I received this status for my application on the cic webpage:

Decision made

We sent you a letter on February 19, 2014 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us

It is March 8th and I stilled have not received the letter. The address that I gave is in Sweden and I am a bit worried because under the address section in the application page it only says the street address and the city name. Not the country or the postal code (although I included them in the application). Is this normal? Should I contact them and how?

Are you talking about first stage or second stage?
If you have been approved as a sponsor, file transferred to London, then contact the London office to ask about it. Send a case-specific enquiry through the website http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/missions/london.asp

If you're still in the first stage and it's the sponsor approval that you're talking about - did you get an email? If you got an email, that's the "letter" that CIC is referring to, and so you won't get anything else. if you haven't heard anything at all and the date your application was received is passed the date indicated on the website, then contact CIC in Mississauga to ask about the sponsorship part - they should be able to tell you over the phone if the Sponsorship part has been approved.

Hi,

It is the first stage and i did not received an email from them, the email i received was to say they they received my application. I can't seem to find a number to contact mississauga. The only number I found needs to be dialed from in Canada. Is there a specific number for their office that you know of? Thanks

No. It is only the call centre number. Is your sponsor in Canada? They could call and ask about the sponsorship decision made.

And you aren't on Canada? They would have had to mail the letter abroad and that takes a while. Is there anyone in Canada that can call for you that knows your info? Ie parents, siblings, etc

You can try to call this number (1-613-944-4000)
