Decision made before passport request!

Hello this is very usual though.

Mine status was showing the same even before PPR request but all went smoothly. Dates of my file are below. Nothing to be panic. I still believe some officers are lazy or something there and delaying some legitimate files. Mine went very smoothly so far.


Applied - Dec 09, 2013
Recieved Dec 11, 2013
AOR - Jan 31, 2014
Upfront Medical - around May 20, 2014 (No email notification received but status changed on CIC site)
Status - In Process (May 30th)
RPRF upfront - June 10, 2014
Status - Decision Made (June 24, 2014)
PPR Passport request - July 10,2014
Passport Sent July 11, 2014
Passport Received by CIC July 14, 2014
Passport Visa Stamped July 15, 2014
Passport Received by me July 21, 2014
Landed on July 23rd

so it took 15 days to get PPR.
Well nothing we can do. but you guys have completed the whole process in less then a yr,
for me its 20 months and still waiting for PPR.
It makes me feel as if someone have falied in highschool and now writing the exam with their juniors.

yes, when did u send your passport and when do you anticipate to get it back

My Passport got delivered to CPC Ottawa office on July 21. Return tracker is not activated yet. Cheers

No, i guess my passport was reached there last tuesday July 29 and i have not received any thing back
I dont have a tracking number coz my lawyer sent it on by behalf,
any update from you?

Which courier R U guys using and feel comfortable with for sending PP and other original dox..

I sent through Canada Post, and delivered there on July 29 Tuesday and other tracking number is not activated yet. Hopefully by end of this week they will send it back.

i wish the tracker gets activated tommarow and we get the passport back by friday ..
