Decision Made before Medicals does NOT always mean rejection!

Hi all,

My E-Cas status had been Decision Made before medicals since October 2011 and I was fearing a rejection. I am a MI-1 applicant, Nairobi VO in Africa and NOC 11111. My consultant received my medicals request, the letter was dated 15th February 2012 and I have 60 days to submit updated Schedule A form, police certificates and pay RPRF! Bottom line - don't lose hope (I did!) if your status turns to DM before medicals have been requested!

My status change to DECISION MADE today , SAME RBVO inside and address disappear.


Hope this is not Rejection...

My status also changed to Decision Made today my medicals are not done, Same RBVO inside and address disappear.
Can any one guide when I will be able to receive a letter from VO about this decision

May I know about Your Full doc submition date? When your MR Received that previous Dated Your E Case statious had application Received & Decicion Made? Please share of all pre june mamber? My statious AR & DM from september 2011 to yet.
 
Hello Pranto,

After sept 2011 when status changed to DM, you have not received any kind of communication from VO? If not, did you sent them email asking about same?

Please let us know.

Congratulations.

In MOST cases Decision Made prior to medicals means rejection. However, occasional blips in ECAS do occur :)

Wayne, thanks, I was so sure I had a rejection coming but I guess one always has to wait for the written correspondence to come through! Pranto, I initially applied way back in May 08, got request for full documents in June or July 09 and my E-Cas started showing In Process from September 09. Finally it turned to Decision Made in October last year and I got my medicals request, the letter is dated 15th February! Thanks to everyone for their support and congratulations!

Friends, my friend got this email from London VO just today, in response to his query soon after he saw his ecas showing Decision Made? ( His status was turned to Decision Made on Feb., 21, 2012. Does it necessarily mean rejection letter or the wording show something hopeful? Did those having got refusal letters also receive such emails?

It is just unbelievable my status was changed to DM from RBVO on 27th Feb. I feared rejection
Just now I have received an email asking for the following documents for submission

Application for Permanent Residence IMM0008 form for the principal applicant.
* Updated Schedule A Background/ Declaration form for yourself and each family member over the age of 18.
* Updated Schedule 3 Federal Skilled Worker form for the principal applicant

Photographs of all family members

Payment of PRF

copies of passport

Updated police certificates

But interestingly no Medicals as yet what does it mean

Please help me.
