Hello,

For God sake it is taking long time. Did you checked with local office in Vancouver? Like why it is taking too long for your Oath invitation?

When I went was the test, we all who gave the test got the pamphlet stating that we should expect oath invite within 2-3 months. For some people it took 4-5 months to receive oath invite as well.

All we have to do is wait patiently.

In my case the letter said the ceremony was at 9am. I got there 8:40am and waited till the doors opened shortly before 9am. They called everyone by their position (number in the oath letter) to check the documents and then go in to see the officer to: turn in PR and stamp landing document, then enter the oath room (same place I did the test). There were 60 people taking oath at the same time, so it took awhile till everyone was in their seats. That being done, someone came and explained 8what was going to happen: judge would enter, say a few things do the oath, call each person by name to get their certificate, sing O Canada and that's it. Right about 11am it was all done, I stayed around a few mins extra to take pictures with the Judge, talk with some people and such.
Did you have to sing O Canada individually to the judge or a group?

Everything was done together as a group (all 60 people, or however many).
Reciting the oath: This was done in French and English. 1-don't worry about memorizing it. 2-Don't worry about not knowing how to say it in a language you can't speak (ie: I don't speak French). 3-The Judge says the oath a few words at a time and you repeat with him step by step. 4-The judge and other officials look constantly at everyone to make sure they are repeating the words.
Singing O Canada: They hand out the words on a pamphlet when you sit down so if you don't know the words already you can follow along on the pamphlet.

I believe any situation in which someone requires an individual session with the judge would most likely be in a separate day/time and have a very specific invitation letter for that appointment.

Edmonton seem to be running on steriods relatively speeaking.

We hear that they are running two sittings for tests and two oath ceremonies on two days each week.

At my oath ceremony there were ~100 present so they are clearing ~400 applications a week

My ecas status changed to 'Decision Made' not sure since when though. I called the call centre and they asked me to wait to hear from the office.

I passed my exam in January 2015, and got RQ'd because i made a mistake in residency caculation and fall short by 18 days. The local office sent me an ecam invite letter again in April (by mistake). I did appear in the office and they went over my documents again (no re-test though). I hope i have a good news.

I saw Decision made on July 28th and called up call center to ask the next step. They said it is not significant until you get a letter. They update this every Tuesday.
