My husband is sponsoring me to come to Canada. I am a 21 year old female, US Citizen. He is a 28 year old male, Canadian Citizen. They received our application on March 3rd, 2015, he was approved as my sponsor an April 13th, 2015, and it says decision made as of April 20th, 2015? The FBI has not sent my police check yet, so the CIC does not have it. Do you think that they declined my application based on that? I also moved in the beginning of April but I updated CIC with my new address in the beginning of March. It still hasn't updated online, though, so they sent my letter to my old address... What do you think's the deal?
P.S. I don't have a police record and neither does he.

Re: "Decision Made" After barely 2 months?

Some apps are held in Mississauga and approved in 2 months. Was your app forwarded to Ottawa, or did it remain at Miss?

How do I check?

Edit:

This is what it says online

We received your application to sponsor EMILY XXXXXXXX on March 2, 2015.

We started processing your application on April 13, 2015.

We sent you a letter on April 20, 2015 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Re: "Decision Made" After barely 2 months?

Does eCas show DM for the SPONSOR section, or are you saying that it shows DM under the applicant's section as well?

That's lightning quick for him to be approved...5-1/2 weeks?!

I know that's why I'm so scared.... One second, taking a screenshot of the page.

Edit again: Uh... I think... I just went... full idiot... He was approved, not me, right? Lol.

This is what it says under my side:
Permanent Residence
We received EMILY XXXXXXXX's application for permanent residence on March 2, 2015.

Medical results have been received.

That raises a question I've had though. What happens if CIC finishes my application before the FBI sends my fingerprints? I sent out for them 1st week of January this year.

-_- I'm an idiot.. Lol. Sorry guys :(

Okay! :) That makes more sense. They've made a decision regarding your spouse being a sponsor. Your application, regarding PR, has only been received.

Re: "Decision Made" After barely 2 months?

The decision made is under the sponsor portion. That's normal. Stage 2 is still application received, so keep waiting (and relax). :D

I am so nervous! Lol. Thank you everyone.

Re: "Decision Made" After barely 2 months?

I had another question but I added it late in one of my previous replies.

What happens if CIC gets through my application before they get my fingerprints? Will they auto decline me?

Re: "Decision Made" After barely 2 months?

They won't get through it without the certificate. What will likely happen, is they will open your file, see that the certificate is missing, send you a document request, and put the file aside until X days later. Then they will open it again and check if everything is there, and then they'll proceed.

Okay, I see. I printed out the home page of the FBI website showing there are delays and explained why I don't have it. Hopefully they are nice and just set it aside!

Emily, you need to call CJIS immediately..... They are sending out reports that were submitted in Feb. We had an issue with CJIS rejecting my husbands prints and they only found this when they looked into a different system, under is SSN.
