Hello all,

I have a family member in India who is applying to immigrate to Canada. The most recent news received on their application on the Canadian government website was "A decision has been made." However, this was 10 months ago. They have tried to contact the office for further information but to no avail. How long should they have to wait to find out what this decision was? Would a letter have been mailed to them? What if the letter was lost?

Any thoughts are appreciate.

Thank you for the link! Any ideas on how long it takes to receive the letter after the "decision has been made" is posted on their online application?

Best,

Ali

Apply for GCMS note to know details.

Yes

Apply for GCMS notes to know the real reason for delay. Normally, after the "decision made" message it does not take that long to receive passport request.
