Decision from universities

Hi, I have applied to several universities in Canada for MEng in Mechanical for fall 2014 intake. I finished applying on Dec-12th. Could someone let me know when should I expect a decision from the universities? In most of the universities I am getting the status saying that my file is under review by the department.

If you are not in contact with a supervisor then university can take up to 3-months in making their decision.

I secured admission in Uni of Victoria and Regina. I was not in contact with any supervisor for Regina so they took around 3.5-months in making decision. For Victoria, I wan in contact with a supervisor and it took only 10-day in securing admission there.

It further varies uni to uni.

Usman is right it depends on uni. I got decision from Concordia uni in 25 days however normally it takes 3-4 months.
