Hi there, I probably missed this but how do we get a link on the official website to apply online? I know that there is a link at the beginning of this thread, I just think that using that link would be "cheating". I should be selected on the website, so do I refresh this page multiple times to get the link? Thank you.

i just received my online test invite. thanks God!

Good news! Does this herald a positive sign that IRCC is picking up steam once again for online applications? Who knows;)

Using AOR timeline, next in line should be @Lovelycomplex, @khilkhil, @Kaur2, in that order (that is if they issue the test invites in order and it is not initiated by the local office).

Fingers crossed!!!

Hey guys! I recently found out on the CIC website that we can now register and check our Citizenship status online (not the ECAS or Webform). Here's the link - https://cst-ssc.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/register
You can also find the link to do so via https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/check-status.html
This will only work if you have received AOR.
Thanks for sharing! This gives a much clearer picture of our application status!

Wow this is a big deal, thanks so much for sharing! You might want to start a new thread here so everyone on the forum is aware. It'll answer so many questions for a lot of people

Although it's already been mentioned, but I just came to know about the new application status tracker. FINALLY I saw my status online - 3+ months after AOR :)

Definitely recommended, esp. for online applicants(with AOR) like myself, who were never able to check status online - https://cst-ssc.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/register

Love the new and more detailed status, but they seem to have removed the concept of "decision made". Now it's just overall "in progress" and citizenship ceremony - "not started"

Yes, it is nice to see the status of my application after a while.

Just a quick question for you as you have completed your test and interview: Does it mean that "in progress" imply that it is completed? For example, Physical Presence "in progress" meant it is completed? Or does it mean that it is still under consideration?

Please let me know your thought. Thanks!

In my own case, my status changed to "decision made" in 2nd half of April; don't know the exact date. I was told this when I called up IRCC on 28th April. In the new status tracker system, I don't see any "decision made", so I guess they have removed that concept for the applicant; might still be present on their own end.

Other than this it's a new system, and I only know what I read online here: https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1465&top=5
Of the 6 sections, 5 are "completed" for me, and the 'citizenship ceremony' says "not started". Also the overall status on the top says "in progress".

I have the same status as you. Had my interview on April 14, and physical presence, language and prohibitions updated to "Completed" on that same day. I called them last week and was told a decision has been made (citizenship granted) and just waiting for the oath invitation.

Wow! How do we then interpret this?

For the Language skills, Physical presence, Background verification, and Prohibitions to still be "in progress" and the applicant gets a test invite which moves to "completed" after the Citizenship test is written. Does this mean that they didn't complete the preliminary things (Language skills, Physical presence, Background verification, and Prohibitions) before moving to the test invite?

Also, does receiving AOR really mean that someone has passed the preliminary screening of Language skills, Physical presence, Background verification, and Prohibitions?

@simons, @CCAI2021, @yxl_yyz, and anyone can please share their opinion!
