Who said FDs are not allowed?? Fixed deposit can be encashed anytime...any kind of funds which you can encash at any given time/immediately are allowed...

Yes, that is what I had thought and showed some FD's as POF. But when they asked me for updated POF this is what their email read.


Secondly, program criteria requires that you possess sufficient funds to cover settlement costs in Ontario.
Funds must be unencumbered, readily transferable in a convertible currency, and supported by bank statements.
From the review of your application it appears that some of your funds are locked or in fixed deposit certificates.
Funds must be unencumbered and readily available, and cannot be locked for an unspecified period of time.

Hi Guys,

Finally after 1 year 4 months from PT notification, I received nomination yesterday. Yes, they sent the nomination on Saturday . I had called the operator a week ago and he had told me that I should hear from them in a week or max 2 weeks time and it did happen. Super happy Diwali time for me.

I wish happy diwali and speedy nominations to all friends waiting from long time. Good luck.

My timeline as below.

EE Profile Created- 30 June 2015
Ontario NOI- 7th July 2015
Application with DD submitted- 30th July 2015
Ontario request for Re-issuing DD- 20 Oct 2015
New DD Received by Ontario- 2nd Nov 2015
Received File no with Additional document Request- 24th March 2016 (NO AOR, only File no in the Subject line)
Sent Additional documents by mail- 31st March 2016
Nomination- 29th Oct 2016
CRS changed to 1006 instantly
ITA-Expected shortly

Can anyone add me a link for post ITA/Nom procedures. Is there any whatsap group created.

I feel very soon OINP will nominate remaining applicants from Oct, Nov, Dec.

Also the Jan applicants started receiving the WES, additional docs request simultaneously which raises the hopes for NoMs.

Guys,

I am a CEC outland candidate and have received additional document request on 22nd Oct 2016.

1. Updated proof of settlement funds – 6 months of recent bank statements showing savings
2. Additional proof of work experience at XXX Canada –
12 months of consecutive pay slips
12 months of bank statements showing corresponding salary deposits
Appointment letter
3. Updated IELTS test score

I have got 15 days to submit those.

Guys, I have collected all the documents. For POF, I have funds in 2 banks in Canada and 3 FDs on my spouse name in India. Is this necessary to give my current salary account (which is in India) details also? I am asking because, my salary account doesn't have funds, it's a day to day banking account and CIC has not asked me to provide my current employer payslips neither salary credit statements perspective to my current employer in India.

Also, I will be sending via email. Do I need to send the hard copy as well?

I don't have 12 months of consecutive pay slips as it was related to a job I was doing 3 years ago in another city and closed the account. What should I do then? Will it make any problem?

It said"Your evidence should include a reference letter from your employer and previous pay stubs, where available.".

I have the reference letter but not the pay stubs.... plz help me.

this week we got many nominations i believe.

got the Nomination certificate via mail (purolator) some hours ago, it does say IRCC might ask for this certificate so shall keep it handy.

I am a 30th Dec applicant as well.... Have you been requested to send any documents yet?

welcome aboard the 30th Dec ship..i have been requested to give oinp online access to the ECA from WES on the 12th of October..sent it on the same day and no word from them since then..i assume it may take up a couple of more weeks to hear anything from their side being a FSW applicant and the WES online access is just one good excuse to delay my application..hang in there..FSW pf the last week of Dec are yet to receive their nominations.
