Thats new. They also send confirmation now ? they have made everything online and digital recently. Things are moving fast. you will get nomination in a few days. Not more than 4-5 days !!!!

Quick question, did any of the nominated receive the message below during the process?

Please be advised that your application to the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has been referred to a senior processing officer for a decision (this was received a loooong time ago)

Wondering if senior processing officer meant decision phase

thanks for the kind words. If you have recd additional doc req , you will get nomination in few days. I got additional doc request on 27th and sent on 30th.
If you are CEC you will get a call and next day nomination

Thank you Bestofluck for keeping me positive. Actually I am a CEC candidate, and my last WP was expired on 23rd Sept and the additional document request came prior to it, and it was on 12th September. So I sent the requested documents on 14th September. There after I am in process of extending my Visa in Canada. I have received a generic mail last week from OINP, and asking about the proof of my visa extension. I posted the application that I received from IRCC to them, now my question is does it makes any difference in terms of the time line in nomination process. Is there any chance of delay.

All your inputs are valuable, so that I can be prepared for next step.

I am really happy for all who have received nominations (CONGRATS TO ALL!!!) or requests for additional documents since these means nomination is on your way!

I just wanted to let you know my status…

It took us a very long time to get a new DD since where I’m from they stopped expediting in absolutely all banck, and after a long time we found someone we could trust in Canada that could do us the favor.
We sent the draft and it arrived their offices until August 24.

On September 30 we finally received confirmation from the payment (August 24) but we still haven’t received the old draft back, which I hope to receive soon because we can’t get refund of the money without it…

I’m sure our file was put in standby for a while since it took us so long to send the new draft, but hopefully we will soon be requested additional documents. I believe this is the reason why some files are moving faster tan others and that's why nomination dates aren't following the same as application dates...

Let's all hope OINP keeps moving as fast as they have the past days
