PT Notification of Interest October 23rd 2015
Application sent November 26th 2015
Application received by OINP : December 1, 2015
AOR : April 7th, 2016
Phone Call and Additional document request from AB : September 9th 2016
Additional documents sent and decision phase email : September 14th 2016
Second phone call: September 30 2016
Third phone call: October 3rd 2016
Nomination : October 5th 2016
ITA .........next draw

I just received an email requesting additional documents.

- Evidence of the deposits of your pay cheques from XXXX from August 2014 to August 2015, such as bank statements from the account into which the cheques were deposited


Do I have to translate my bank statements?
It's basically numbers, but have some informations as my name, paycheque deposit, account, credit, debit, etc.....

Congrats Oloriire, great to know you were nominated. I am also interested in knowing what the questions you were asked in those three calls you recvd from OINP were about and how you were able to answer them.

Still have not gotten back my first draft
Still have not gotten receipt for new draft (delivered July 27, 2016)
No request for any additional docs yet....

Feels like my file got lost in the pile.....

i never received any emails of my file moving from one phase to another. Just a AOR email. then a call for sending renewed IELTS and WP. then an email notifying i got email from CIC. checked the CIC profile requesting to accept nomination.

If the bank statements are not in English/French, then better to include a translated copy as well or else OINP may not be able to understand the transaction details

It's been a long time. Normally, they email duplicate receipt within 15-20 days and old draft reaches to us within 30 days (from the date OINP receives new draft)

Did you email them to enquire ?. Try calling them or at least email them again.

Yea I called numerous times....the operator just gave same old excuse about huge backlog and things taking longer than normal....
Emailed them about 4 times - no response.....

Gonna call them tomorrow with a vengeance.....I must get an answer....

Considering the huge huge huge backlog they have, any chance that they finish all nomination by end of November.
We are hearing that they are going to start sending PT notification from November and some changes are also expecting from CIC in process and policies.

Any thoughts on this?

Some DD take a lot of time to get cleared. Depends on each country and their tie ups with Canadian banks. But this is too long a time. you need to fax them.
Write your file number and Attentioin ( officers initials). Hope you get some reply.

It seems a never ending story.

They know it better when will they finish with all nominations. They must have planned something. I dont think they will issue new PT until 80 % of us are nominated.

I agree but don't you think that they haven't used their allocated quota and by taking this much time they are making difficult for them and applicants as well.

File number in progress somewhere 1500 if I m not wrong so long long long long to clear the backlog.

file numbers in progress is 2700. I think they will complete all before Christmas.
