One thing I could not understand is the 2015 figure. As per CIC Year end report 2015, the figure was 871 for Ontario and 1528 for BC.

SK is way more than those figures

@Digitaldestiny that is weird how the numbers are far less than expected, i mean for instance, Ontario has a cap of 2500 for the base stream, not mentioning the rest of the streams!

That's a bit harsh... If I remember correctly what they say is that the AoR should (not will, but SHOULD) be issued within 90 days... They make no claims about giving out NoMs in 90 days.

1) Quoting from the OINP manual of 2015
"OINP aims to complete assessment of nominee applications within 90 calendar days of receipt of a complete application.

Enquiries made within 90 calendar days of the date the application was received by OINP will not be answered, as this period is the usual processing period for applications and program resources will be concentrated on completing application evaluations."

2) Quoting from http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNP_EE_CAPITAL_FAQ.html

"Please note that applications to the OINP are processed on a first come, first served basis. Processing is taking longer than usual due a large number of applications in the program’s inventory."

@maged_mmh I understand but this data is published by IRCC. Checkout the source links.

@Moh.Salem OINP's has a quota of 2700 nominations under EE for 2016, they were no where close in 2015 and they are no where close in 2016 as well.

DigitalDestiny, Maged

Thanks for the stats. The figures in the report are quite dismal.

2700 X 2 = 5400 NOM's for 2015, 2016
871 NOM's issued till 31/12/2015 leaves OINP with 4529 + 2700 for 2017 = 7229

God knows the best about the fate of 5500 - 6000 AoR's issued by OINP.

noted.

which affirms the fact that any province is not at all obliged to fulfill its quota, it's a kind of best effort, not a commitment to accommodate 2700 nor 5500. they may be done by 800 per calendar year and just move on afresh the next year.

I tend to agree...

As I understand from your post:

In 2015 OINP issued 871 NoMs'.
OINP issued 632 NoM's until 30 June according to the report.
Approximately 200 - 250 more NoM's will be issued till 31 Dec 2016 bringing the total to 880, approx. matching the NoM's figure of 2015. Great!!!

The 5500 - 6000 AoR's issued, the ongoing old DD, New DD exchange, additional docs, calls are only to keep the applicants busy and remain active. :'(

I don't think it works that way.

In 2015 OINP announced the opening of the program on June 1st, and the figure for 2015 counts from Jun-Dec.
So for 2016 I suppose at least 800 additional NoMs to the current figure are yet to come out.

But again, God knows how OINP folks are able to surprise the applicants either in a good way or in a disapointing manner. I wish the former be the case. :-[

CIC 43rd Draw may go above 500 – PNP Nominations Increasing

Hi Guys, small query?

Does every one is maintaining required settlement funds in the account continuously for the past six months??

Is this Mandatory to maintain the funds continuous for 6 months??

I was not maintaining the Funds for past 6 months, but currently I have enough funds in my account. I can see as part of additional docs request, for few they are asking to submit past 6 months statements? Will this impact my application, any alternate solution??
