Congrats @prashantduggal. Looks like out of excitement you posted the same message on multiple threads ;).
Yeah, I follow December and January threads the most so wanted to tell this news to both group members. However, didn't get the reply I was looking for.

Anyways, although they are parallely going thru Jan applications as well but officially OINP say that they process on first-come first-serve basis so they would send your AOR once the processing moves to closer to your application receiving date. Wish you All the Best.
I believe in same. Lets hope for good.

Question for people who have recently received AORs.
Look at your file number in the PDF enclosed to your AOR. It looks like XHSW-160XXYY.
could you post your XX , it will enlighten us about the remaining quota for 2016.

Hi,

I got my AOR on the 2nd of June. And then on the 13th of June I got email stating that I needed to resend DD.
My xx=21

I saw it in a whatapp group that last week they averaged 40 aors per day.

Whoa! If someone got a file number XHSW-1602700, it means that the 2700th AOR has been issued in 2016.

Actually, 160 means 2016 quota that started in Nov 2015, so all applicationas since then were given 160XXYY file numbers.
Mine is 11 and there were some people with 13-14.

and the quota for 2016 is around 2700

Mine was XHSW-16006** . So, from Jan 2016 till Feb 11, 2016, there were 600 and odd AORs sent. So, going by this, when the OP said his file number = 16014XX, it means that close to 700 AORs have been issued from Feb 11 till date.

If quota for 2016 is 2700, we r royally screwed because they are already at that number...

From OINP website:

"The federal government determines the maximum number of nominations Ontario can award annually. Each year, there are about 300,000 immigrants that come to Canada. Of these, Ontario is allowed to select 5,500 through the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) in 2016. This program, which represents only 1.8 per cent of total immigration to Canada, is targeted towards filling labour market gaps with skilled workers. It is just one option for immigrating to Ontario."

Please understand that the quota is for the number of nominations and not number of AORs sent. Per the Year-End EE report, we can clearly see that OINP had nominated only around 870 applicants. The quota is still there and probably that is why they sent those large number of PTs in January.

Please update the tracker.

I got my AOR finally. It was indeed sent on May 17 but due to my inbox being out of space, it did not get delivered to my email.

Now, I got both the letter and receipt as attachments but my DD was apparently valid for only 3 months. Now I have to again follow up with them if they sent me an additional email asking for new DD during the period when my inbox was out of space.

Feeling so stupid that my inbox was out of space around the same time they sent the email. :-[ :-[

Congrats man! Did they send you the AOR again after an inquiry? I tried to contact them by email, fax and telephone but in vain. The only thing I am sure about is that they didn't return the application to my Canadian address till now. My email is "yahoo" one and I receive spam emails everyday but no one from OINP.
