After getting AOR, either they will ask for additional documents or may be another DD, and then will issue nomination if everything found perfect.

They will link your nomination to your EE profile, which will result into additional 600 points. Once you get them, CIC will send ITA which you have to accept with in 60 days and then further processing....of submitting documents, medical, PCC...and so on...

Thank you, for the process right after accepting the ITA, do you have an estimated timings to finalize the process and end by submitting the passport for a the visa stamping ???
I am asking because i am expected to travel in August for work purposes for a WHOLE YEAR outside my current residency country which I submitted in my application. I am trying to get a clear picture so i can infrom my manager that i might have to travel back before it ends in case i happened to finalize the whole process in less than a year to make sure i dont have any penalties which i need to pay for canceling and not finishing the full time of the assignment.

Thanks for the help :)

No Idea Brother!!
OINP or CIC may surprise us all with their processing speed. But as of now, after getting ITA, it takes from 3 - 6 months.

Congratulation to all who got their AORs recently, wishing everybody best luck with their processing and outcomes. Hopefully will see some more AORs and better seeing some nominations also this week.

Does EE profile still might get expired after accepting ITA or it just freezes and timer goes inactive?

My application was received on 7th December 2015, almost 6 months back. Still no AOR, no replies to emails. I'm sure the DD is expired. Life is never easy, isn't it? Still hoping for the best.

There are many cases who have not recd the AOR but they have issued it much early. frankiefun is one of them who got AOR on 15th April and never recd a mail. Just keep calling OINP frequently.

Not all DD get expired. There are DD's with no validity time. But now it seems they do not even bother to deposit the DD and they have started sending AOR considering the DD is expired. And God knows when will they return the old DD? looking to the response of mails they are giving, I dont think they will return DD immediately.

Joke of the day

And we never know when OINP will come out and say the application fees are revised to 1650 CAD and all applicants who have submitted after Nov 24 and recd AOR need to send another DD, till than no processing !!!!!!! OINP you are great ! :P

Guys just a quick question. By looking into the current progress i am expecting aor in the next two weeks. However my DD is already expired. Just need an advice, can my friend create a DD and send it to OINP? He is based out of ON and I am in India. I can save few days going by this approach.

I think it should be ok your friend making DD and send it to OINP, first point is that it will reach soon and second ask your friend to take DD from TD bank it does not have expiry date. But just wait for confirmation from OINP who know it is already en-cashed....

Dear All,

I received my AOR on 12 April 2016, since then I did not hear anything back, do you think I should call / mail them? or it has no meaning?

Regards,

Call them to ask about the status. Your emails may get ignored.

If you get a receipt of your payment does this mean that they wont ask you to pay for it again and they have cashed the DD?

That understanding is correct.
